How is that a compensation for lost time? Sure it is for the lost "paid subscription" time, but not the actual time you could've used to progress in game, or do something else ofcourse.

Nothing can really compensate for lost time (except full prigga cutting edge set +15 xD ).
But trying to find middle ground to make players happy, company happy and have something to win from it. Avoid "rewarding the attackers" and keeping it real the same time, i find it really balanced solution.

Also will allow starter accounts to participate more in the shugo events, making them happier and giving chance to gameforge to sell more items from shop.
And as it was done in the past its easy to implement... if we find 2 days not big enough we can argue on 2x2 on something similar.

You're right it's not a compensation in the way it should be, but at least it shows appreciation towards players. But that's just another thing in their "never to do list" I guess.

Is there a ddos attack again? I have a 5k ping in-game (if I'm lucky and can login), the website and the board are extremely slow as well.

I just ran a trace route from uk to deyla and there does not seem to be a problem connecting from here.
