Exactly, the XP you see is the "bonus" XP for your level progression, it's not the crafting XP¨. The crafting XP is not displayed. Believe me the buffs works many people who crafted since the event started can confirm, myself included.

i used one of the scrolls from veteran rewards and i didnt get that usual debuff showing the 5h timer, is that normal?

The xp you get from crafting is totally unrelated, and only boosted by xp boost like xp amulets and xp events. Crafting xp is something else and boosted by such craft xp events or crafting amulets. This is why we have different amulets. The xp you see in chat, ignore it. With this event and one crafting scroll 500% I managed to get from level 10 to 215 craft, basically in the whole 5 hours the scroll was active. It wasn't possible before the event was active.
I dont remember being like that when we were crafting the OLD professions Handicrafting as example..But ye thanks for answer.

That's a very good question. By default it will be applied to all players that fulfill the requirements.

Well, I've done it and it was quite easy. Started with level 10, went there in blind and I didn't know what to craft but I got to 300. Farmed all the mats myself, spent maybe around 200m kinah on npc items till level 270, then maybe around 100m more till 300 but I had lots of spare craft items by the time I got to 300. Use 2x 500% 5h scrolls, with 10 minutes left, but I could have been more efficient if I have prepared things in advance. I crafted the noble prone's weapon from first try, thanks for those 3 free mats. Some tip for whoever didn't start yet, craft lots and lots of yellow and white energies from the start (at least 10k each), without the better scrolls but the free ones. This will get you till like level 44 then you can use the better scrolls.
