    • Alot Client Problems

so in the past few weeks i started to get alot of weird problems with the client.

The client will crash on login screen

The screen will go black for 2sec and resume its happens random when i use skills.

The screen will freeze and force me to hard restart pc aka press and hold power button.

Sometimes and rarest happend 3 times, screen freezed and buzz sounds from pc need hard restart also.

The client compared to previous weeks is using more memory and causing to my cpu to overheat too much 65-70.
      Its usually about 60.

      And other minor bugs..

Can someone explaine what the f is going on? Is it just me or what?

Not sure i want to keep playing with such a problems.. I just cant bare it.

(no, its not my pc, tested on other games and everything is perfect.)
    • There isn't enough info tbh.
You could start with specs of your computer.
Then you could tell us what's exactly in the error message.
      Or/and check your event log.

If i had a guess, i'd say your video card is at fault, which can heat your cpu as well, not tat 70c is a lot.
Get the info above, and install GPU Temp, or another gpu monitoring software as well.
If you are low on memory get memory cleaner and set it to clear/trim every 5 mins.
You can find that on koshy john website.

PS: "it's not my pc" is probably wrong.
When my HD 4890 died, errors only occurred in Aion, at first.
    • Here are some crash log information.. its just sad

      from crash logs:
an Access Violation in module CryAnimation.dll at 0033:0000000017211700.
exception handler called in the AION Server.

an Access Violation in module Cry3DEngine.dll at 0033:0000000050A5F428.
exception handler called in the AION Server.

an Access Violation in module Unknown at 0033:0000000035D0F800.
exception handler called in the AION Server.

When the client crashed, i watched Task Manager, the client was using 5,862mb Memory, and with this crash, all my programs i was running in the foreground was crashed as well.

tell me its my pc.. and is there anyone to fix it? or WHAT?

      Buy a new pc
      That's just mean.

@Define First what you will have to do is open your PC (idk if you have laptop or normal pc, please give me this info to better help you) , as I assume you have normal PC, dust it out. As lately the temperatures outside rised a lot, your PC can overheat. When you have laptop, and it overheats take care you have a cooling shelf.
Second: check carefully if every component is plugged solid ( the hard drive, or graphic card or any other part could got loose). Could be, that with the new Windows 10 update (if you have Win10) your computer could go crazy, which is normal, many of people I know, has this problem. And then it's damn Microsoft problem. You can disable things from the new update, google has answers.
IF that won't help, you need to reinstal system. Look especially for the cut out version without apps from the windows store. Not strong computers crashes because of the new update, because of the Windows store.
If you don't want to do it, because you're afraid to mess something up, PW me or ask for a specialist from the closest computer support in your area.

If you have MAC, then I'm sorry, but I can't help you.

    • about the temperatures as i said, every other game that i run its perfect. 60-70c

Overwatch, PUBG, Fortnite, Black Desert, but aion for some reason just have to use too much memory to cause this overheating. But i dont want to bother with that if there is no fix for that, i never go blind.
    • I highly doubt that a memory leak cause your cpu or gpu to "overheat".
Mate, we can't help if you describe your problem as "not working".

      These details are required.
      -Spec of your pc.
      -Windows version + if it's 32 or 64 bit.
-Temperature of your gpu ingame and idle.
-Temperature of cpu ingame and idle.

Last time someone came around with such issue, it turned out the dude was using a 32bit windows.

PS:Different games stress different parts of your pc, while x may work, y may have trouble.

      other game
other game has "send log" problems? other game work on old cry engine? other game has the same bad optimization?

-hey guys, I have problems with a car
      -what car u have
-no metter, I check it on other road and its was fine

Thats your logic. U are ashamed to say your specs? Nobody care. Open any PC forum and u will see what every time first step to solve problem is say SPECS. Every part of PC has limited resource and if u playing on old gcard - resourse of memory almost dead coz when it has problems the game start eat memory from RAM (for example)
If u are so smart and u know what this is not PC problems - reinstall aion and stop ask stupid questions. We are not fortunetellers to help u without nothing
    • Firstly, the client can not physically use 5.8GB of memory as you said.

That is an indication of memory leak (client issue).

Secondly, exception handler called in the AION Server.

This states that the issue lies with GameForge's bad server build.

Solution: There is no solution to the problem as it is not a problem that is caused by the user and as such can not be fixed.

you should read before you post, its started few weeks ago, before everything was perfect, dont post here if you dont f read post
u should listen ppl and stfu if u need help. All problems come when everything was perfect u dont think so?

Bazz sounds - first and simple u need change battery from motherboard. Everybody know that (and change battery every ~2 years)

If, like u think (and u are wrong), there is not pc problems - use DISM.exe. (DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanHealth) How to do that ull find in google
OCCT and other test programs - u need make all tests for memory (RAM and Gcard)
Simple virus check, all cables reinput, check GPU memory temperature (not by programs - by hands)
DISK INFO will not be superfluous (crystaldiskinfo or other program)

pf, okey kid, good luck :D
after few weeks ull get same problems in other games
    • @Desolator
We are not here to argue, so please.

      @Define
      -reinstall your direct-x 9c.
-delete the SystemOptionGraphics.cfg file in the "Aion Free to Play" directory.
      -reboot your pc.
-run the game via gameforge client.
-use 64 bit client from now on.

      Regarding the overheating issue.
70c is perfectly fine, and since we don't know where oyu live, we can assume summer bumps the numbers a bit.
You could apply fresh thermal grease and clean the cooler to see if it helps.
If the case has bad airflow, the gpu can easily raise the cpu temperature as well.

For this to inspect further, we'd need raw data.
I recommend "gpu temp" and "core temp".
Then we'll need idle temperature with nothing but desktop, and temperature under load, for both the gpu and cpu.
