      Hello my friends. Because Kor and RU servers got 4.8 installed, im translating new guide for full changes in ranger skills, so all you will be ready and have time to think about upcoming changes.

      Added new skills (hidden stigmas):


      Piercing Arrow*


      To open it you need: "Agonizing Arror" + any 2 from: "Leathal Arrow", "Explosive Arrow", "Hunter`s Might".



      Deals 2027-2031/2327-2331/2627-2631 damage to target with high chance of critical attack. Magical accuracy modifier +500. Temporary stuns target for 1,5 sec.
      Cast time 2 sec.
      Cooldown 2 min.
      Learned at 55/59/63
      Consumes 183/238/288 MP accordingly

      "Shadow cloaking*"

      To open it you need: "Lightning Arrow" + any 2 from: "Gale Arrow", "Hearshot", "Sharpen Arrows".



      Go into advanced hide for 2/2,5/3 sec. Movement speed in hide 80%. You can use it in combat.
      Cast time 0 sec.
      Cooldown 5 min.
      Learned at 55/59/63
      Consumes 199/229/259 MP accordingly

      "Attacking trap*"

      To open it you need - any other (that differs from mentioned above) stigma combination.

      Puts a trap near character. When enemy closes, trap explodes dealing damage and stumble up to 8 enemies.
      The trap remains active for: 1 min. Radius: 3 m.
      Cast time 0 sec.
      Cooldown 5 min.
      Learned at 55/59/63
      Consumes no MP

      Stigmas will be changed in 3 grades: Normal, Greater, Superb

      Normal Stigmas

      Arrow Deluge, Focused Shots, Nature`s Resolve, Bow of Blessing, Blazing Trap, Skybound Trap, Seal Arrow, Trap of Slowing, Trap of Clairvoyance


      Greater Stigmas

      Sharpen Arrows, Explosive Arrow, Gale Arrow, Hunter`s Might, Raging Wind Arrow, Leathal Arrow


      Superb Stigmas

      Lightning Arrow, Agonizing Arrow


      All new stigmas have new ItemID - so you`ll need to buy it again
    • Changes in normal(book) skills
      New Passive Skill - increase physical attack +30%



      - Entagling Shot - added magical accuracy modifier +300
      - Hide I - added possibility to use food and scrolls while in hide
      - Elyos got same as Asmodian
      - Spike Trap - Cooldown increased from 20 sec to 30 sec
      - Dodging - different cooldown with same type skills
      - Aiming - different cooldown with same type skills
      - Calming Whisper - increased resistance to pull(draw) from 25% to 50%
      - Strong Shots - different cooldown with same type skills
      - Hunter`s Eye - different cooldown with same type skills
      - Weakening Arrow - added magical accuracy modifier +300
      - Aether Arrow - cooldown changed from 1 h to 30 min
      - new name "Shackle Arrow"
      - Shackle Arrow - added magical accuracy modifier +300
      - Speed of the Wind - now it`s skill, learned automatically lvl.44
      - Bestial Fury - now it`s skill, learned automatically lvl.30, Physical attack decreased from 50% to 20%
      - Fleshcutter Arrow - cooldown decreased from 24 sec to 15 sec, added magical accuracy modifier +300
      - Griffon Arrow* - now it`s skill, learned automatically lvl.50
      - Sleep Arrow - now it`s skill, learned automatically lvl.19
      - Silence Arrow - now it`s skill, added magical accuracy modifier +300
      - Retreating Slash - now it`s skill, learned automatically lvl.22
      - Manaleech shot - cooldown decreased from 24 sec to 15 sec
      - Misery Shot - now it`s skill, learned automatically
      - Breathe of Nature - now it`s skill, learned automatically lvl.34. Cooldown deacreased from 60 sec to 10 sec. Added effect +1000 HP, cast time removed, now its toggle skill.
      - Instant Sprint - now it`s skill, learned automatically lvl.62
      - Final Storm Attack - used after "Remove Shock". Cooldown increased from 1 min to 3 min. Added effect of knock back.
      - Seizure Arrow - now activates after successfull Evade. Learned automatically. Cooldown decreased from 1 min 30 sec to 45 sec. Now can be used while running.
      - Sandstorm trap - increased continues damage.
      - Poisoning Trap - increased damage from exploding.


      Changes in stigmas




      - Focused Shots - Phisical defence decrease changed from 50% to 30%. Different cooldown with same type skills.
      - Nature`s Resolve - Cooldown deacreased from 5 min to 3 min.
      - Blazing Trap - increased trap exloding damage.
      - Seal Arrow - increased base damage.


      - Sharpen Arrows - added +50 evasion effect.
      - Explosive Arrow - new faster animation, cooldown decreased from 30 sec to 18 sec. Base damage increased near 10%
      - Gale Arrow - triggers 2 times, base damage deacreased nead 20%. Increased summary skill damage. Cooldown decreased from 8 sec to 7 sec.
      - Hunter`s Might - critical hits count increased from 2 to 3.
      - Leathal Arrow - cast time deacreased from 2 sec to 1 sec, new faster animation, cooldown deacreased from 1 min to 24 sec.


      - Lightning Arrow - cooldown increased from 24 sec to 30 sec.
      - Agonizing Arrow - new faster animation, cooldown deacreased from 1 min to 24 sec, poisoning damage time decreased from 1 min to 24 sec, poison damage every 6 sec, added magical accuracy modifier +300.

      New stigma socketing mechanics

      Now you can put stigmas in any order.
      You dont need stigma shards anymore - kinah is used for changing stigmas.
      No stigma levels anymore - when u leveling up stigma level with you.

      Now you can enchant stigmas:
      For enchanting you nedd same but not enchanted stigma. If u fail enchanting both stigmas destroyed.

      Old stigmas gaining new prefix - "Damaged"
      They can be sold for kinah
      Old greater sitgmas can be sold for AP

      U can by "stable" stigmas from traders. The cannot be enchanted.

      5
      Hidden stigmas can be ecnhanted - for example:
      Example 1. 6 stigmas enchanted next way: +6, +5, +4, +3, +2, +1. Hidden will get +1(lowest from all).
      Example 2. 6 stigmas enchanted next way: +3, +4, +3, +3, +3, +3. Hidden will get +3(lowest from all).

      Some additions:
      Names marked with * - im not sure how it will be traslated to our servers - so when we will got 4.8 - i will change names.
      Stigma calc for 4.8

      And int 4.8 u can use candys with class trasmormation skills. They count as separate buff.

      hunter's might duration 20 sec
      all skills usable on the ground and in the air
      no longer need tripeed seeds/fruits for traps
      and i think poisoning trap DOT was increased but not sure/don't remember

    • Can't wait for 4.8. So many changes. I know all the classes get lots of tweaks, but at least now we won't be left behind :P All the skills that would make the class just insane right now, aren't available as one setup. We need to chose.

      In 4.8 all we need will be available, and even boosted. Woop! I'll miss the big troll that Storm Mine is, though :D And Screamin Rapid Fire gonna be missed too, once you get the timings right it can boost your dmg a lot.

      The only good change out of those 2 is BoN. The defence decrease in focused shots is insignificant and you wont notice the diffrence.
    • For me 700 pdef is 50%, that means that 1400 is 100%, it gets reduced from 50% to 30%, that's 20% lower. 20% of 1400 is 280. That's still 28 dmg base dmg less. No idea how that scales, but I'm fairly sure that crits get reduced on the base dmg and not the crit dmg.

      if you have 1400 def, i guess you're wearing e30 armor lol
      let's assume that you'll have 65ap mythic armor +15 and augmented ap accs by the time 4.8 comes.
      with that gear you'd have 1981 total def -> 1649 (+332)
      difference between old and new FS will be 0.2 * 1649 = 330 def

      Its not a Stigma skill. You learn it at lvl 65.

      Maybe there is a bug/error and you can't see its name?
      If that's the case, maybe you would have to delete and re-download some files (mostly from the "l10n" folder).
