Dear, fellow players,
at this point in time I am sure you are all aware of the recent "unintended" changes in the pricing of "Transformation contract". Gameforge have already made official statement regarding the issue available here.
Readers are advised to wear a tinfoil hat for best immersion results.
Ever since the arrival of patch 6 a noticeable amount of players (in my estimation up to 10% of the player-base) have, having exhaustively analysed available patch item compensations and exchange documents, invested their resources smartly, which allowed them to purchase, not 1, not 2, but 11+ Transformation contracts a week exclusively by expending in-game currency (Kinah).
The hardworking employees at Gameforge HQ tasked with the meticulous monitoring of key in-game resource distribution and amounts have scientifically determined that 11 or more is, at the very least, 11-times as much as if not more than 1. Since they had projected a 1-Transformation-contract-influx per player per week, and that was no longer the case, they hurried to alert the higher-ups about the "issue".
The higher-ups, however, tasked with such an important decision, although overall highly qualified felt they were lacking in fields of both economics experience and expertise and therefore decided to pass this decision onto the marketing department.
The marketing team examined all available data, made tests and ran simulations but regretfully they all produced the same results - the increased amount of in-game currency Transformation scroll purchases are negatively affected real world money shop sales.
Ultimately the higher-ups were left with little to no choice but to manufacture a "bug" preventing any player from purchasing Transformation contracts in-game until they can find an alternative way to make more mone... I mean a more suitable solution that would benefit everyone.
And everyone lived happily ever after.
~The End~
