Now the "meta" is entirely different. -
Without proper atack speed weaving is not really an option, so sins are not top tier atm like before. Considering weaving accounted for 50%+ of melee dps in 5.x, magic dps are better right now.

well lets not forget dagger has 2.3crit modifier while mages 1,5 so early patch with low crit chances its only natural mages are ahead but feels like late game it still gonna be sorc/glad with the new dmg formulas base dmg seems very important n with such deava skills as sorc to reset cds on nukes will see how it turns out

The thing is right now we can't really tell for sure.
That because not enough people have their xforms, to reach their attack/cast speed caps.
Also we need to wait until we reach enough crit strike or crit spell.
And then we'll know. -

Bard is kinda far back in dps.
More of a mid-tier class. -
I would still vote for sorc and sin as best dps classes even tho i'm a bit disappointed by the sin's change.
After playing pve only glad and sin last patch, this one I've changed to AT since it deals a lot more dmg with garden gear than my compesation pve gears on sin and glad and AT's attack speed buffs allows me to get kind of a stable dps w/o using transformations easy mode - casual PvE hero -
no way to know atm.
for example, i know that gunner is a pretty decent DPS class but right now, I'm just tickling both players and mobs, without certain daeva skills and proper gear/crit spell

Just play the one you are more comfortable with. For pvp you will be hated with both anyway, though with sm you will be nr. 1 target, with bard only next in the line.Livi wrote:

I do not know if you have static group you usually playing with, if there is sm already adviseable not to take sm as you will overwrite each others dots. With bards this is not really an issue (just agree on mosky timing) -
All i know is just dont play sin, or you will start to think abot suicide.
