yeah this thread leaves me speachless. Why on earth would you ever want them to put something like dark dragon weapons into a heavy rng promo? Dont you understand that those items were used as bait in the past because they had an insanely low chance of being obtained? This is like asking a casino to increase the jackpot on a certain machine so you can waste more money believing you will ever get it? There are other ways of implementing rare skins or mounts. Just because you are used to only buying them during p2w events in the past. Aion changes for the better after years but people are basically begging gameforge in this thread to bring back baits into gambling systems.

and so far, these last 3 months, that has proven correct.
Basicaly, this new event guy doesnt know what items are needed in the game nor does he understand the value of items.
Slot stones? that sounds valuable. [not knowing that ppl are sitting on 10K+ of them]
Seal scroll? ooo that probably seals ur item's cursed power and u get a new skill out of it, heck yea sounds awesome. [not knowing that you buy them for 10k kinah]
Whatevs, I got no luna to waste anyway, but this just scares me, knowing I can't even get excited about a skin, yet alone smting else. Not a game I wanna play.

i hope so. events should not be a main source of anything important for character development in any mmo.

This promo IS pay to win, except you pay for garbage. Something not pay to win would involve not spending, or paying for items you can also get in game.
Then there is a whole different concept about proportionate rewards, be it effort in game or paying for items.
This event gives you useless stuff, white grade transformation scrolls, and is also expensive. -
something not pay to win also means having no incentive to pay even though there is an option. thats what this promo is. you can pay for it if you want, but you dont get baited with crazy stuff. where do you lose?

I like the promo for its badness. I also dont mind 'bad' events as long as we get way to obtain certain items in game. Good events in games shouldnt gift players with essential items, but they should provide some 'exclusive' e.g. cosmetic items, like lets say skins or mounts that you cant get normally. Those events should also be based on in-game activities and not casino unless you can get casino tokens in game too.
